Cameron Rose McCaffrey was born in Aberdeen, Scotland to oil company managers William and Heather McCaffrey, living there for most of her early childhood. Her family moved to the US when Cam was 6 years old after her father got a job managing his oil company's Miami office and she's been living in Miami ever since.

During her childhood and her teenage years up until she graduated from University, Cam's hobby was ice-skating and Judo, but she hasn't practiced any of them regularly since she started working for the Mayor 3 years ago, however she still is a good martial artist, even though it's not obvious. Cam hopes to find time to get back into judo more offtin as well as skating. While in university, Cam majored in communications and political science, learning French along the way. Not long after graduating, Cam was hired onto the Miami mayor's staff as a PR agent. The pretty and feisty redhead quickly made a name for herself, surprising her coworkers and proving that she could hold her own.
